Notes...

Amsden - I can't determine just where the depot originally sat, but it was nearby its present location. As you can see, an interurban ran behind the depot. The depot was moved to the old interurban right-of-way. I believe this was done in the N&W era. To get to the depot, take SR12 north from Fostoria about 5.3 miles, turn left on CR8 (there is a sign here that says Amsden), go to Amsden and turn left on CR28. Go thru town to the old right-of-ways. The depot is the second building from the road. You can still see some ginger bread trim under the eaves on north (I think) end. The building had the eave area filled in for closet space. The depot is still used as a residence on 5-4-2001. --Bob Albert, NKPH&TS

Tiffin CCC&StL -  Station sits along an old boardwalk area next to an old candy store. Across the abandoned tracks is the old CCC&Stl (NYC) freight station. Jim Cook tells of the former Tiffin stations: The Baltimore and Ohio station sat on the Southeast corner of the intersection of the railroad and N. Monroe;  The PRR station sat on the Northeast corner of the intersection of the railroad and N. Washington street at the top of a steep stairway. All three stations sat within a one minute walk of each other. Both the B&O and Pennsylvania stations are gone. The passenger station at 65 N. Monroe is being restored by Larry Breidenbach to its original glory. The grounds are also being landscaped with trees and water ponds. --2005
