Preble County Stations Of The Past

Station Railroad Notes
Campbellstown PCC&St.L The building in the photo was probably only a cabin and not a station, but Campellstown was/is a very small stop. Does anyone know if Campbellstown had a station or did this small building also serve as a flag stop?
College Corner CH&D (B&O) This station was located on Brookville Street north of Church Street.
Eaton PCC&St.L (PRR) This was the predecessor to current station and was used for both passenger and freight service. This building was located in the same area as the existing passenger station on the south side of the tracks. It was torn down when the current station was built in 1899.
El Dorado PCC&St.L (PRR) The old Brasier Hotel which was on the east side of Main Street (south of the tracks) may have served as the first station here as it had a passenger platform along the tracks on the north side of the building. A depot was later constructed by the railroad around 1910 on Mill Street just east of Monroe Street.
