This joint passenger station was located on Olive Street between 3rd and 4th. Another freight house was located on the opposite side of Olive Street. | ||||||

Notes About Existing Stations... Gallipolis (CHV&T) - Station is in poor condition as of 2005. Kanauga (CHV&T) - On old C&O/NYC line. Was also train order office. The main railroad that uses this line is Norfolk Southern via trackage rights, but CSX has ownership from Pt. Pleasant, WV to Hobsen Yards in Middleport, OH. Station is boarded up and may be demolished soon. As of March 1, 2001 the building is still standing. There is, however, a condemned sign on the building. The track belongs to CSX. This is the Pomeroy Sub-Division. NS ownership ends a few hundred feet railroad west, geographic south, of the station at Block Station CONCO. |
