Verndale (NP) - Station was sold to private owners in 1970 and subsequently moved to Staples, MN.

Verndale (NP) - This station was moved to Wadena in 1956 when a new steel depot was built in its original location on the west side of Farwell Street in Verndale. According to the 1917 NP Valuation records, the station was built in 1902 and has mesurements of 24'x100'. The building has add ons on the front and back (the sides of the depot) so only the two ends of the depot are visible and give away its identity.
